      My wife and I are seriously considering the X 5.0. need to tone down a bit we are 67-68 yrs old now, have owned a lot of mountain bikes. This one seems to cover our needs. Love the superlight weight.

    Bought a X 3.0 yesterday and took my first ride today. What a fine bicycle. I'm hoping it will last me for many years.

    I wish they made this rack mounts on the carbon fiber models.

    I just bought a sirrus 2.0 with 16 gears and added 40mm tyres

    thinking about buying one of these bikes soon, either the 2.0 or the 3.0. As the 3.0 is a couple hundred pound more than the 2.0, is it worth the extra money for the extra features?,

      Hi McD5791: The Sirrus X is a great bike! It is one of our best selling bikes. Take a look at our blog to learn more about the differences between the models: www.eriksbikeshop.com/blog/post/specialized-updates-the-sirrus-x-family. Then you can make the call as to which model is right for you. Thanks!

    I bought x 3.0 2021 and I wonder if I can add a future shock later? The 4.0 is too expensive for me right now

      Hi @Patryk M. Unfortunately the Future Shock is not something you can add to a bike after market.

    Does the sirrus x 4.0 come with tubeless ready wheels and tires as well as a clutch for the rear derailleur?

    • @EriksBikeandBoardShop
      @EriksBikeandBoardShop  3 года назад +1

      Hello Rico,
      The Sirrus X 4.0 does not come with tubeless ready rims or tires, and the rear derailleur is not equipped with a clutch.

    The facts are wrong at some places.
    3.0 isn’t 1x10. It’s 1x9.
    2.0 cassette isn’t 11-42. It’s 12-42.
    I feel in the passion of marketing they threw the facts all over.

      Hi there @G S, thanks for the comment! With supply chain issues with bike components, sometimes companies have to switch drivetrains or components on a bike to be able to keep up with demand. Also with a new year comes new updates. While this years Sirrus had new paint colors and some drive train changes, the bikes largely stayed the same. Hope that clears it up for you!

    Not a review...it's just called marketing.

    I wish it came without the future shock. I dont need it. I want the Sirrus X 6.0 without shock.

    • @aaronburela432
      @aaronburela432 3 года назад +2

      I also think they are not needed, but they are hardly noticeable. Never felt a bob while peddling. My gripe is that they stuck a 1.5 future shock on the 5.0 it should've got a 2.0. Nevertheless I was not sold on the future shock till I rode it and it did take out lots of handlebar vibration. Only downside is if you want 4.0 and above you need to change the whole fork to not have future shock. Lame

      @@EriksBikeandBoardShop please do, and tell them they should've adjusted the price because it was supposed to come with praxis cranks. That's a lesser complaint

      Just picked up the Sirrus X 5.0 today in orange, they call it red. The future shock is really great to dampen road or trail rides. It is quite stiff, but takes a lot of shock and vibe off of the handlebars. I was skeptical, but its a really good design. I know it works as I put my hand on the side of the future shock and you can feel the displacement.
